Greencape Broadcap Fund

The Greencape Broadcap Fund is an Australian equities fund which can take significant positions in companies of all sizes. It offers investors access to a diversified portfolio of large, mid and small cap Australian shares, providing the potential for capital growth above the S&P/ASX 300 Accumulation Index over the medium to long term.

The Fund can invest in listed equity securities or hybrid equity securities such as convertible notes, redeemable preference shares and partly paid shares. Derivatives such as futures and options may also be used to reduce risk or gain exposure to other types of investments. The Fund can also invest 10% in stocks listed on any international stock exchange. We aim to fully hedge any international asset exposure back to Australian dollars.

When deciding which investments make it in to the portfolio, our rigorous selection criteria ensures that we invest in companies with what we believe to be a combination of attractive shareholder stewardship, sustainable returns and appealing valuations. The result is a portfolio of between 25 to 70 high quality stocks which reflect our best ideas from large, mid and small capitalisation stocks.
